The Bergen Evening Record captioned photo dated January 16, 1942, which appeared in the paper, states that Louis Robins was being installed as Commander of the JWV (Jewish War Veterans) of the United States.

To be appointed, he had to have served either during or after World W ar I. Louis Robins’ name was not on the Original Honor Roll list, but he was from Hackensack at the time of his appointment of the Bergen County Post 128 Jewish War Veterans.
